We are required to raise our annual dues this year due to an increase in our waste management services. We explored bids from several waste management companies and have chosen to renew our negotiated agreement with GFL. Due will be increasing to $650 to cover the next several years of incremental increases that is built into the GFL contract.

2026 DUES ARE DUE ON OR BEFORE JANUARY 15, 2026. You can mail a check to/or drop in the green mailbox on the front porch at HV Treasurer, 12114 Juniper St, Overland Park, KS 66209 or pay online at this website (additional processing fees apply).

Our annual meeting will be held in March, date TBD. The Hawthorne Community comprises Hawthorne Valley, Hawthorne Place, Hawthorne View, Hawthorne Terrace, Linden Place, Hawthorne Apartment Homes, Hawthorne Plaza Shopping and Ascension Senior Living.

We will be starting the process of updating our HOA rules and regulations as they are outdated and several of them don't make sense anymore. We will at some point need homeowner signatures on the new regulations so you may see us coming around door to door for that if needed.
